This beautiful Shadow Hunter framed canvas art print features a portrait of April Nicol, originally hand-drawn by Rachel Maytum using pastel pencils and soft pastels on anthracite Pastelmat paper. Rachel thoroughly enjoyed creating the piece, even with the challenge of working large black areas that produced plenty of dust. The effort was worth it, as April’s presence truly shines in this piece. A huge part of that impact comes from the powerful reference photo which April kindly gave Rachel permission to use. April’s professional photoshoots for her social media provided the perfect inspiration for this expressive artwork.
